Contest schedule

This year's contest will start at 00:00 June 17 Friday UTC (= 24:00 June 16 Thursday UTC) and end at 00:00 June 20 Monday UTC (= 24:00 June 19 Sunday UTC).  There will be no 24-hour lightning division this year.  More details about the contest will be announced later (as soon as our budget plan is approved by ACM).  Thanks!

Earthquake

As far as I (the contest chair, Eijiro Sumii, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan) know, the contest organizers are safe, including members in Tohoku University.  Tokyo is also safe.  (The level of radiation in Tokyo is very low.)  The contest date will be annonced later (maybe in April), but it will be in the usual season (perhaps June or July).  Thank you!

This blog is going to be the official site for ACM SIGPLAN ICFP Programming Contest 2011.  It will replace icfpcontest.org (and www.icfpcontest.org) as soon as we set up the DNS.  The contest dates should also be announced soon.  Stay tuned.
